An ex-Royal Army Veterinary Corps dog trainer of various classifications of dogs, including: Guard, Security, Sweep, Tracker, Drugs, Police and Arms & Explosives Search. Andy was also an instructor on both Protection Section and the Police Dog Handlers courses.
As a member of the Army Dogs Display Team, Andy received awards for competition, ranging from Superdogs, InterService Police Dog trials, to the UK and International canine biathlons.
In 1988 he served in Northern Ireland as an Arms & Explosives Search dog handler.
On leaving the military, Andy served 12 years as a Police officer in both Sussex Police and the Ministry of Defence Police.
In 2004 he was deployed to Baghdad, Iraq and on his return has been responsible for training the Arms & Explosives detection dogs as well as working at many of our venues as an AES handler.
